Soccerlytics in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Hochschule Hannover)

The growing significance of Business Intelligence in football was particularly noticeable prior to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. In preparation for the World Cup, the German national team successfully used gathered data to, on one hand, improve their own game and on the other hand, analyse their opponents and use this to their own advantage. Out of love for science and passion for football, in 2015 Futura Sports Consulting developed its first Business Intelligence product for football clubs. This includes both the hardware and software, which enable detailed account and visualisation in real-time. In another academic project, the data analysis and visualisation were improved. Player information, such as running performance, speed and accuracy, as well as a new software solution were improved and successfully implemented. Further projects in cooperation with Prof. Dr. König and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Hochschule Hannover) are already in the pipeline. We will gladly provide consultation for your team for planning and implementing Business Intelligence.
